SAMPLE MĀORI CULTURAL ITINERARy

Arriving into Auckland we drive a short distance to where we spend our first night in Aotearoa, here we get the full run down on what to expect for the week, full of authentic Māori culture/experience’s and jam-packed action. Our week starts with surfing at one of New Zealand’s top beaches, we then carry on down the East Coast where we will be staying communally for the next two nights on a marae and visiting the local kura (school). Next stop is Rotorua, the heartland of NZ Māori Culture. We settle into our new marae and get into some of the adventure action this town has to offer! White Water Rafting, Ziplining, Giant Ball Rolling, Luge,  Sledding, Carving your own pounamu (greenstone necklace), Luxury Sailing and a Māori Village Feast and Experience are what to look forward to.
